It looks like it's time for another price hike, but this time it could also include CPUs. According to the latest report from ChannelGate, AMD could face another round of price increases later this year as rising manufacturing costs at TSMC put pressure on the company's chip business.

The report confirms that TSMC has notified its customers about the price hikes, leading to AMD notifying its partners about the same. The price hike is roughly 10% and is planned to be implemented in the fourth quarter of 2026. While this report specifically mentions AI accelerator chips, consumer graphics processors, and motherboard chipsets, it does not explicitly mention CPUs.
