Philips Brings 5th Gen QD-OLED Panel To EVNIA 34M2C8600P Monitor, Bringing Better Clarity Coupled With 280Hz Refresh Rate

Philips Launches Evnia 34M2C8600P QD-OLED Monitor With 5th Gen QD-OLED Technology; Features a 34-inch Ultrawide Display With a 1800R Curvature

Popular monitor maker Philips has launched its best-ever 34-inch OLED monitor yet. This is the Evnia 34M2C8600P, which relies on the latest 5th-gen QD-OLED panel to bring superior clarity through the 5-layer Penta Tandem structure. The 5th gen QD-OLED panel uses the V-stripe/RGB layout to reduce color fringing, making text clarity better than conventional OLED panels.

The Evnia 34M2C8600P brings a 34-inch QD-OLED screen that features a 1800R curvature for more immersion, coupled with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification for deeper blacks. The display also uses an Anti-Reflection coating to improve image quality and covers 99.3% of the DCI-P3 color space for vibrant images. The Evnia 34M2C8600P boasts a 3440x1440p resolution and can run at a good 280 Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals.

This makes it ideal for immersive triple-A open-world titles as well as competitive gaming. Thanks to the 0.03 ms GtG response time, the monitor offers no ghosting or artifacts, as it can transition to the next frame quickly, making it a great option for professional gamers. Philips says the monitor is equipped with Adaptive-Sync to reduce screen tearing, which makes gaming even more pleasant, and uses AI-enhanced Ambiglow to enhance immersion through the light projected from behind the monitor.

Evnia 34M2C8600P uses AmbiScape as well, which allows users to pair and control up to 10 Matter-certified smart lights and customize brightness, color temperature, saturation, and hue from a single interface. Moreover, the Philips Evnia Precision Center is available for easier customizations.

The monitor brings dual HDMI 2.1 ports and one DP 1.4 port for display output, alongside one USB Type-C port with DP Alt Mode and 90W power delivery for charging devices quickly. For quickly changing devices, the monitor also has a built-in KVM switch to control two systems with a single set of peripherals.

The Philips Evnia 34M2C8600P will launch for retail availability in October 2026 at an MSRP of £779.
